Since 1817, volunteers have been an essential part of the Crosswicks Library. If you’re looking for a friendly place to give back with flexible hours, the Library is the perfect fit!

Our volunteers include seniors, teens, graduate students, stay-at-home parents, full-time professionals,

long-time Chesterfield residents, and newcomers alike.

You choose the schedule that works best for you — some volunteers come in weekly, others biweekly.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Running a club — chess, STEM, story time, and more

• Hosting a one-time event — lead a workshop, class, group discussion, or activity

• Assisting the librarian — shelving materials, tidying shelves, processing books and requests, creating displays, and more
